Facing Deportation? You Have Options Through DACA.

Speak with an immigration attorney in Tampa, FL; Indianapolis, IN; or Nashville, TN

In 2012, the Secretary of Homeland Security announced that individuals who entered the United States unlawfully as children could request deferred action. Instead of facing deportation, they could receive work permits under DACA (or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). To find out if you or a loved one qualify for renewable deferred action, talk to the immigration attorney at Edgardo Martinez Attorney At Law.

Do you qualify for deferred action?

If you...

  • Were under 31 years old as of June 15, 2012
  • Entered the United States before your 16th birthday
  • Have no felony or no more than three misdemeanor convictions
  • Have lived in or been physically present in the United States since June 15, 2007
  • Are currently in school, have earned a high school diploma or have obtained a certificate of completion or GED certificate

... then you might qualify for deferred action. Each immigration law case is unique, however, so it's important to speak with an immigration attorney about your situation.
